  •       music and how they compare with his earlier writing styles.  I
  •       will examine several recent works and will perform Carter’s
  •       Caténaires and Fratribute.  In addition, an overview of Carter’s
  •       recent works for other instruments, voice, and chamber
  •       ensembles will be given.  Helpful hints for learning and
  •       performing this often intimidating repertoire will be
  •       given, and I will recommend specific pieces and
